Elevated CBD Retreat: Views + Pool & Sauna!

It was nice, but I won’t return. Overall, it just didn’t feel like there was a lot of care happening. The folks in charg Positive: I really love location. It was a wonderful cityscape to behold, once I cleaned the window windows. It was easy access and the bed was quite comfortable. On Sunday mornings, there are balloons that rise up behind the cityscape in front of the apartment at dawn and it’s beautiful to watch them float across the sky as it illuminates. That itself was worth the whole experience. Negative: I didn’t like that there was a broken lamp leaning against the corner. I didn’t like that an opaque window covering was peeling off. I didn’t like the lack of towels. I didn’t like that the fridge and backsplash and cupboard surfaces were dirty. I didn’t like that the video game was broken. I mean it was cool to have a vintage type cabinet video game in the room, but if it doesn’t work, it’s just like a weird prop. The building is a little old and the elevators are noisy. When I arrived, only one of the two elevators worked. I also didn’t like that I had buy laundry detergent because the laundry detergent that was provided was empty. And strangely, there was only black pepper, finally ground. They’re actually two black peppers. But there was no salt. Which was weird. When I asked about more towels I was told that there were enough towels for the number of people that were staying, but considering that I was staying for an entire seven day stretch and hadn’t even been provided with laundry detergent. It felt like the management was really phoning it in and didn’t realize the state of the apartment. Hopefully that will change now.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Positive: The location was perfect for myself and the things I had to do during my stay. Everything was perfect, place was very tidy and cosy which was amazing. The host Jake was very good and communication was good.

Gorgeous apartment, very clean. Well-equipped with everything you need. Great location. Great hosts! Positive: Everything was great Negative: The lack of windows but I understand this is par for the course with a high rise apartment. Just a personal preference.

A comfortable place to stay with a great location. Positive: Great location, walking distance to southern cross station, Marvel stadium if heading in for a concert, Spencer St outlet, Coles, trams, restaurants etc.. Apartment was comfortable and clean and had all that we required. Jake gave very good instructions (including pictures) on directions to apartment, picking up the keys and entering the apartment, all very helpful! Negative: Nothing we didn’t like, couple of little things we found that needed attention, didn’t effect our stay though, but we messaged to advise them. Jake was very responsive, not aware of the attention needed and was chasing it up. As mentioned it didn’t affect our stay but will help the next guest staying.
